celebrating our anniversary

a few days ago (22nd May 2006), it was our 2nd wedding anniversary.
prior to that, I thought of a few good restaurants to celebrate with my wife. We have this lovely habit: we would wish each other happy anniversary on the 22nd of each month. at last count, we have done it a whopping 98 times.

but it doesn't feel that long. not when you are in love.

my beautiful wife, siang ling, is the most important person in my wife. and I say so with pride and joy.

bringing her out for dinners and spending time with her has not been done enough and I want to do it more often, especially after the great dinner we had on our anniversary. I specially made a reservation for us at the top of the world, the Equinox at the 70th level of Swissotel. I even requested for a table next to the window facing the padang. I think it is always good to be specific, unless, of course, you are happy to let the waiters seat you anywhere else.

And anyway, that table was the exact same area where I had proposed to siang ling more than 3 years ago. And I remember every moment of it.

I've had many best moments in life, but the most meaningful and special ones are the ones spent with my wife.

All my personal achievements and career fulfillment pale in comparision to the love between us.
